Film critic, journalist and television producer, Lily Slavova graduated in theatre studies, film studies and journalism; German and Romance studies in Germany and the USA. She speaks five languages. With the establishment of the Chance for Children and Nature in Bulgaria Foundation, she realised one of her big dreams – to create a sustainable platform for supporting and developing the talents of Bulgarian children and young people. Her mission is to change the world for the better through education, culture and inspiration. She believes in the power of art and seeks creativity and innovation in every sphere of human knowledge and development.

Pepa Nikolova

Pepa Nikolova
Head of the Centre for Young Talents – Burgas at the Chance for Children and Nature in Bulgaria Foundation


Born, lives and works in Burgas. She is a proud graduate of the Goethe German Language High School and holds a master's degree in primary and pre-school education. She speaks three languages and has been an integral part of the Young Talents Centre team since its inception. For over a decade, she has been a driving force in its development – an innovative educational structure that is the Foundation's first and longest-running project. Working with children inspires her, fills her with positive energy and motivates her to seek new approaches and solutions. The diversity of personalities she interacts with is both a challenge and an opportunity for personal and professional growth.

Nikolay Kolev

Nikolay Kolev

Nikolay holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Westminster in London, UK. He worked as an international editor and web editor at bTV. He also holds a Master's degree in Ecology and Environmental Protection from Shumen University "Episkop Konstantin Preslavski". He is currently pursuing a PhD in "Ecology and Environmental Protection" and has worked as an ecologist in various international and national projects focused on preserving Bulgarian nature. Since January 2025, he has been part of the team at the "Chance for Children and Nature of Bulgaria" Foundation. He loves rock music, camping, and gardening.

Born and raised in Pernik. Driven by her desire to grow and seek new opportunities, she moved to Varna, where she enrolled in the Journalism program at Chernorizets Hrabar University. The seaside capital quickly became her second home and the place where she spent many years developing both personally and professionally. Petya is someone who appreciates life’s simple joys—the sea, camping, and walks in nature. It is precisely her love for people and the inspiring environment that drew her to the mission of developing and supporting talented children. She believes that every child carries light and talent within them.
