Regional contest “From Drawing to Graffiti – Europe Through My Eyes”

For the contest:

“From Drawing to Graffiti – Europe Through My Eyes” Gives Burgas Youth the Chance to See Their Art on a City Wall

The Chance for the Children and Nature of Bulgaria Foundation, in partnership with the Human Resource Development Centre, invites young people aged 14 to 19 from Burgas and the region to take part in the drawing contest “From Drawing to Graffiti – Europe Through My Eyes”, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the international Eurodesk network.

The contest aims to inspire creativity, civic engagement, and youth participation through art, encouraging young people to express their vision of Europe, its values, and future opportunities. Participants are invited to depict their favourite place in Europe, a dream journey, a personal symbol of Europe, or their vision for the continent’s future — in a drawing that reflects their perspective on being young in Europe today.

Drawings may be created using various techniques – pencil, pastel, watercolour, tempera, or acrylics – on 35/50 cm cardboard.

Each participant may submit only one original work, accompanied by a short description (up to 100 characters) explaining the idea behind the piece.

All artworks must be submitted through courier or personally by 5 November 2025 to the following address:
Burgas, 4 Atanas Sirekov Sq. (Centre for Young Talents).

The three best drawings will be transformed into large graffiti murals in the centre of Burgas by renowned graffiti artist Ivan Yankov – Esteo, and their authors will receive special prizes.

All participants will be invited to the official presentation event, featuring the unveiling of the graffiti, an open-air art workshop, a meeting with Esteo, and a youth information session presenting the opportunities offered by the Eurodesk network – one of Europe’s leading youth information platforms.
