SUBLIME SDGs Partners Gathered in France for the 2nd Annual Coordination Meeting.

On 28–29 May 2026, the partners of the SUBLIME SDGs – SDGs Unite Border Communities as Leaders of Inclusiveness, Mobilisation and Empowerment project gathered in Grande-Synthe, France, for the project’s 2nd Annual Coordination Meeting. The event brought together representatives of local authorities, civil society organisations, and partner institutions from across Europe to review the project’s progress and discuss future activities.

During the meeting, partners reflected on the achievements, challenges, and lessons learned throughout the second year of implementation.

Special attention was given to the KAMALE and SCIATUmia initiatives, as well as to the new resources developed within the project, including the Leading through a Feminist Lens toolkit and podcast series.

Participants also discussed the activities planned for the third year of the project, stakeholder engagement strategies, and the preparation of future international initiatives. The programme included thematic workshops focusing on sustainable development, gender equality, inclusion, and the role of art as a tool for social change.

The meeting also featured visits to local initiatives in Grande-Synthe related to sustainable development and social inclusion, providing an opportunity to exchange experiences and good practices with members of the local community.
