Stefan Bostandjiev Reaches the Summit of Batian in Support of Our Cause
Mission accomplished!
Location: Mount Batian
Country: Kenya
Stefan Bostandjiev has reached the summit of Batian – the highest point of Mount Kenya at 5,199 metres – turning an extraordinary personal challenge into support for causes that make a real difference.
The climb proved to be the most demanding physical and mental challenge Stefan has ever faced – 26 hours of intense effort, extreme exposure, steep drops, abseiling in darkness and freezing conditions.
But beyond reaching the summit, there was a greater purpose. Through this challenge, Stefan chose to support the Chance for the Children and the Nature of Bulgaria Foundation.
For us, this means much more than financial support. It is a powerful expression of trust in our work and in the belief we have stood for over the past 15 years – that talented children and young people deserve a real opportunity to develop their abilities and build their future.
We are deeply grateful to Stefan for choosing to support our cause and quite literally taking it to one of Africa’s highest summits. We are equally grateful to everyone who donated and became part of this remarkable journey.
People like Stefan remind us how much can be achieved when personal courage is combined with the desire to create opportunities for others.
