Foundation laureates bring home the gold

We are proud to announce that this year’s laureates of our Foundation – Marina and Nikola Katsarski – brought home three medals from the international arts festival “Sea Sun Festival” 2025, held in Lloret de Mar, Spain.

Nikola Katsarski was awarded a gold medal and plaque in the category “Visual Arts – Participants from Art Schools and Academies.” His impressive three-dimensional artwork titled “Anticipation,” created using the dry felting technique, earned the recognition of the international jury.

Marina Katsarska also received a gold medal and plaque in the same category with her original three-dimensional piece dedicated to the castle of Lloret de Mar – one of the town’s iconic landmarks. In addition, she participated in the “Photography and Video” category, where she won third place – an outstanding achievement, especially considering it was her first time competing in a live photography contest.

Marina and Nikola were awarded the Foundation’s Grand Prize at our annual awards ceremony, and the scholarship they received made it possible for them to travel and showcase their talent on the international stage – and in what an incredible way they did!

We congratulate them for their dedication, talent, and inspiration!
