Climbing for a Cause: Mount Kenya for the Children of Bulgaria

Bulgarian climber Stefan Bostandjiev will climb Mount Kenya with a mission that goes far beyond a personal challenge. The ascent will be dedicated to the cause of the Chance for the Children and the Nature of Bulgaria Foundation – supporting young talents across the country.

“Every child deserves the chance to discover their potential, overcome the obstacles in their way and build their own future,” Stefan says. For children in Bulgaria, that chance can mean access to education, opportunities for development, encouragement and the support they need to turn their abilities into real achievements.

That is why Stefan is challenging not only himself, but also everyone who would like to help this cause reach even further.

At 5,199 metres, Mount Kenya is the second-highest mountain in Africa. The upcoming climb will be both a physical and personal challenge, but its true purpose goes beyond reaching the summit – to give more children in Bulgaria the chance to reach their own heights.
