Annual Awards for 2013

The annual awards project “Chance for the Talent” aims to support the training and performance of talented children and young people in the sciences, humanities, arts, technology as a stage in the process of continuous learning, education and development. For 14 years we have supported individual awards and distinctions for talented children and young people. Over 75 children from across the country have been honored through the Awards, Scholarships and Honors program, and 10 of them have won the Foundation’s Chance for Talent Grand Prize.

Laureates for 2013

  • Nurgül Salimova, 10 years, village of Krepcha – the Grand Prize of the “Chance for Talent 2013” Foundation for outstanding achievements in the field of science and education – the 2013 state chess champion receives the exclusive opportunity to participate at the Foundation’s expense in the European Chess Championship in Montenegro in autumn 2013.
  • Konstantin Garov, 13 years old, gr. Burgas – for excellent performance at national and/or international Olympiads, competitions, competitions, in the amount of 1000 BGN.
  • Galina Kostova, 19 years old, gr. Stara Zagora – for excellent performance at national and/or international Olympiads, competitions, in the amount of 1000 BGN.
  • Mirela Buyuklieva, 17 years old, gr. Burgas – for an innovative project for 2013 in the amount of 500 BGN
  • Teams of students from “Dr. Petar Beron”, Burgas. Varna – for the innovative project of 2013 in the amount of 1254 BGN – The team of the 10th grade presented a project on the space habitation of the asteroid Dodona, and the team of the 11th grade presented a project on the space habitation of the asteroid Antigone, the projects won two first prizes at the international competition of NASA for 2013
  • Kristian Todorov, 12 years old, Burg. Gorna Malina – one-time support for a talented child with limited financial means in the amount of 2000 BGN – Kristian won first place in the prestigious international piano competition “Premio Crescendo” in Florence, Italy
  • Elitsa Ganeva, 10 years, town of Gorna Malina, Bulgaria. Sofia -one-time support for a talented child with limited financial possibilities in the amount of 1000 BGN
  • Georgi Dinev, 15 years old, Sofia, Bulgaria. Pernik – one-time support for a talented child with limited financial possibilities in the amount of 2000 BGN
