Annual Awards for 2012

The annual awards project “Chance for the Talent” aims to support the training and performance of talented children and young people in the sciences, humanities, arts, technology as a stage in the process of continuous learning, education and development. For 14 years we have supported individual awards and distinctions for talented children and young people. Over 75 children from across the country have been honored through the Awards, Scholarships and Honors program, and 10 of them have won the Foundation’s Chance for Talent Grand Prize.

Laureates for 2012

  • Tsvetan Stoyanov – for excellent performance in national or international Olympiads, competitions, competitions. Stoyan, received full financial support for his participation in the European Junior Chess Championship in Prague in August and delighted us with a gold medal and European title.
  • Daniela Karaivanova – the Grand Prize of the Chance for Talent Foundation for outstanding achievements in the field of science and knowledge. Daniela, received the opportunity to participate in a summer course in illustration at one of the most prestigious English universities in the field of art Central Saint Martins, London.
  • Nedelcho Laskov, Anastasia Antonova, Atanas Kovachev and Ivan Popov – for an innovative project in 2012 in the amount of 2000 leva.
  • Anna Parvanova – for excellent performance at national or international Olympiads, competitions, contests, in the amount of 1000 BGN.
  • Simeon Marinov – one-time support for a talented child with limited financial possibilities in the amount of BGN 2000
  • Alexandrina Popova – one-time scholarship in the amount of BGN 600 – participation in an international piano competition “Mozart” in Rome, Italy


Special awards for special achievements of children from the Center for Young Talents:

  • Tsvetan Stoyanov – national champion in classical chess in the age group 8 to 10 years
  • Kalina Ivanova – winner of the prize “Young Artist” 2012
  • Sianna Zhekova – winner of two national awards in graphics and painting and winner of the 17th National Mathematical Tournament Acad. Kiril Popov.
  • Yanita Junova – winner of literary awards and prizes
  • Veronika Valcheva – first prize winner of the national competition for children’s works “Kazanlak Rose”
